               MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

Once again, God in His great goodness, gave us our desire for souls and blessing among the French-speaking people of Western Europe.  Although it was a comparatively easy journey compared to those in Africa and Asia, we still were extremely busy in meetings daily and nightly and returned home weary but mightily blessed.

We began with an anointed Women’s Conference in a lovely hotel in Brussels, Belgium on a Saturday afternoon.  Such a nice group of women, both African and European, turned out and God poured out His Spirit on one and all.  Mama Doorn preached like she was in her early years and God confirmed His Word with signs following as it was in Bible days.

On our first Sunday there, we ministered both morning and night with Pastors Nestor and Domie Kamuanga from Congo.  They have a great multi-racial church in the heart of Brussels. Mama Doorn preached her anointed message – “The Third Day” (“Troisieme Jour” in French).  The people literally ate up the Word of God.  That evening Papa, along with Pastor Gary Insley from Flint, Michigan, shared together in bringing the endtime message – “Which Church will you be, Philadelphia or Laodicea?”  Again, God confirmed His Word as the crowd chose to be a part of Philadelphia!

We went on from there to minister for two great nights with Pastors Angel and Sylvia Sciarrotta, also in the heart of Brussels.  They have a lovely new building and it was packed to standing room only.  The most unusual thing happened the first night.  God gave a Rhema Word through Papa Doorn that this place would be called “La Casa del Fuego” – “The House of Fire”. No sooner was the word spoken and all the lights went out.  Immediately they brought out myriads of lovely candles and the place literally became “The House of Fire”.  How exciting that God proved the Word by demonstrating it.  In all the years of their being there, the electricity had never before failed.

From there we went to the 13th European Convention of Kingsway Intl.  It was held once again in the ancient city of Charleroi in a lovely hotel.  It was the largest crowd we have ever had for our convention there.  The anointing of God was mighty in every service and great things were accomplished for His glory.  Our European Directors, Joseph and Josiane Heyde, did an awesome job of organizing the convention and conducting the wonderful worship and praise.  All in all, everything was just the best.

Our final lap of the journey took us to Normandy, France, the place of World War II and D-Day.  There we ministered with Pastors Jacques and Jacqueline Flahaut, whom we met nearly 30 years ago.  Their church is thriving and, once again, God blessed with His glory.  From there we traveled home and are getting ready for the next assignment of the Lord.  Please look in on us at our website – www.thedoorns.org – so that you may pray for us in the coming days and weeks.  At our age, 80 this year, we only desire to be a blessing to the Body of Christ in the time we have left to serve the Lord in His Kingdom.

Thank you once again for your love, your prayers, and your mission gifts to help keep us on the field for Jesus.  With all our love always,

Papa Bob & Mama Glenyce Doorn
