FALL MESSAGE TO OUR FRIENDS

Well, here it is fall already. We just came from up north and the leaves were already taking on their beautiful fall colors. What a very delightful time of the year it is. Here in Florida the weather has toned down so that the mornings and evenings are just wonderful for walks and quiet times with the Lord.
We don’t get too many of these times as you will see if you look in on our “ITINERARY”. Our schedule is always
quite full but somehow seems to get more filled the older we get or maybe it just seems that way. I, Bob, turned 79 on October 15 and Glenyce catches up with me on George Washington’s Birthday next February 22.
We still have two more overseas trips yet this year – one to Argentina and the other to Trinidad to share in a very special wedding. Speaking of weddings, our own firstborn son, Tim, is being married to a lovely lady with so many talents of ministry on November 15 in Houston, TX where they will reside in the coming months. Tim has leased his home in Indiana and he and Gavin, our grandson, will be living with Sheena and her two daughters in Texas. It will be quite a change for Tim but a happy one.
We will be arriving back in the States from Trinidad just two days before Christmas so will have to decorate and shop and send out our cards before going or it won’t get done this year. This year 2008 has been a year of blessing for us and one of the busiest in recent years with well over 200 services conducted already and many more to come before the year is over. We traveled in many nations in almost every continent of the globe as well as in many states in our nation. “To whom much has been given much is required” so states the Word of God.
The next message we bring you on this website will be at Christmas time which is one of our favorite times of the year when we go to hear the great Christmas Concert at Disneyworld and enjoy the fellowship of our family which we don’t get to see as often as we like. But until then, be blessed, pray for us, and thanks for being our friend.
With all our love and prayers,
Papa Bob & Mama Glenyce Doorn
