SUMMER NEWSLETTER

 

Blessings to you, our friends, worldwide in the Name of our Wonderful Lord Jesus!

 

It’s hard to believe that summer is here already.  It seems just yesterday that winter was upon us, then spring and now here we are in the heat of summer, at least where we live in Florida, USA. As time goes so swiftly by, we think of the old plaque hanging on grandmother’s wall which challenged us – “Only one life ‘twill soon be past; Only what’s done for Christ will last!”  This is why we keep on going to the nations with this glorious gospel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We recently had the great joy of being hosted by our dear Belgian friends, Joseph and Josiane Heyde, on our first trip to Norway.  This is the land of Mama Doorn’s roots and she always wanted to visit there.  It was the fulfillment of another dream.  While in Europe for our Kingsway Conference we had some 18 services there and in the churches.  God has blessed us to conduct nearly 80 services so far this year.

 

If you click on our itinerary you will see that we have a very busy summer and fall with many states, nations and services on the agenda.  Keep us in your prayers that we may “Keep on keeping on!” even at 80.  At least we don’t have time to get old sitting around in a rocking chair.  And by the way, we celebrate our 60TH Wedding Anniversary on July 25 this year with our family all coming home to Florida.
